Phil Meadows was selected by England golf to play in European Championship and Nations Cup held in Germany at Golfclub Hosel this July.
Phil’s hard work and grind over the last 18 months certainly paid off with him being selected for the team. Phil currently sits UK’s number 1 seated played in his category.
Team of 8 consisted of Phil, Tom Blizzard, Aimi Bullock, Tony Lloyd ( European Championship team ) and Kris Aves, Oliver Hirst-Greenham, Heather Gilks, Dave Reaney ( Nations Cup team ).
Team travelled to Germany on 16th July and returned on 21st July. Practice round followed by 3 rounds of foursomes, greensomes and betterball with tough competition from 11 nations saw both teams secure runners up and European team taking silver medals.
