The Pidley GC event this year also incorporated the new “Greasley Cup” named after the former Chairman of The Handigolf Foundation as well as the established East Anglian Open. The new cup is awarded to the best Gross Stableford score by a bona-fide wheelchair golfer at an event decided at the AGM
This year the East Anglian Open was won by local golfer and event organiser Phil Meadows with 39 points; second Terry Kirby with 32 points and third Greg Jackson with 29 points.
The Greasley Cup was won by Terry Kirby with 10 points playing offf Scratch.
