The 2018 International Wheelchair Golf Tournament in Mallorca at the Son Antem course saw the biggest ever gathering of wheelchair golfers (41 in total). Sadly none from the UK as the cost and logistics proved too much.
The event included play for the Nett European Wheelchair Trophy after it was reclaimed from EDGA and not included in their 2018 championships.
It was won by Heribert Petermann from Austria with a 2-round total of 81 points.
Discussion is under way to find a venue and major sponsor for 2019 so that the trophy can be competed for on an annual basis.
