Dr Andrew Greasley ( Andy ), started the Handigolf Foundation 35 years ago.
Sadly passed away last month from Pancreatic cancer aged 76.
He championed wheelchair golfers with R & A and England Golf. If it wasn’t for Andy wheelchair golf wouldn’t be around today.
Handigolf was one of the first groups to play in tournaments abroad. Once sending a team of 4 players to Australia in 1999 to compete in the Southern Cross games.
I along with many others I thank Andy for changing the course of our lives, Handigolf gave me a reason to get up in the morning and had a positive direction for my life.
So thank you Andy from us all
